Position: UX Developer/Designer – Need locals

Location: Owings Mills, MD 

Duration: 6 Months +

Skills:  Prototypes using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure RP, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript (Angular/Bootstrap a plus)

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Digital User Experience Manager of Market Facing Portfolio, the User Experience Designer is responsible for collaborating with designers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to shape digital experiences for customers/partners. 

The applicant must bring advanced level skills in storyboarding, wire-framing, prototyping, user testing, interaction design, information architecture, HTML and style sheet development.

Responsibilities: 

• Design and improve existing user experience on new and existing market facing products 

• Develop functional prototypes using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript as needed 

• Work with business analysts to define full user interface specification documentation 

• Assist developers with implementation of user interface components and interactions 

Skills:

• Visual/graphic design

• Research methodologies

• User/task flow diagraming

• Wire-framing/prototyping

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Axure RP, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript (Angular/Bootstrap a plus) 

• Demonstrates knowledge of the dynamically changing mobile and web technology landscape

Required: 

• Bachelor's degree in Arts, Design, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

• 3+ years design experience

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Interaction Design or related field.
