Position:  QA Tester

Location : Scottsdale, AZ
Duration : 6+ Months

Interview Mode: Phone Then Face to Face

Job Responsibilities

·         Analyzes and reviews requirements and technical work products

·         Defines and manages test plans, strategies, results reporting and metrics

·         Designs and executes test scenarios/scripts

·         Manages test data as input into test execution

·         Validates test results and records defects

·         Coordinates and plans test runs and calendars

·         Maps requirements to test assets and results

·         Research, prioritizes, defines and manages defect reporting and resolution

·         Validates that environment components are installed in the appropriate testing environment

 

Job Requirement

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Usability and Design/Human Factors, insurance or related field is preferred

·         3 years of using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies

·         - 3 years of test Planning and Estimation            experience

·         3 years of test design and execution

·         3 years of testing tools-Quality Center experience

·         3 years of Test Tools - TOAD/SQL Developer/Navicat experience

·         2 years of SQL/other Query skills

·         2 to 3 years of experience as a test analyst

·         Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, Iterative

·         Working knowledge of Oracle 10/11, PL/SQL, and SQL or similar

 

Preferred Skills

·         2 years of Agile experience

·         Experience with UI testing
