Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
experience leading agile software teams in either agile coaching or agile project management - Familiarity/comfort with leading the QA function on a product team - Capable of rapid, perfect execution while operating autonomously - Manages day-to-day activity of program/project team. Strong in Agile Methodology/Scrum Master - Ensures delivery of program(s) and/or project(s) on time, to budget and to quality - Ensures communication and alignment between all teams - Ensures programs and projects are meeting timelines and deliverables - Resolves issues, roadblocks and changes, and escalates to the Product Capability Manager (PCM), when appropriate - Responsible for budget forecasts/projections - Financial reporting to budget - Point of escalation for all teams - Drives successful integrations with internal and external teams, including vendors - Develops program roadmap with PCM's - Ensures team is following all processes, procedures, and templates used in department or organization - Identify and improve any processes or procedures that are outdated or obsolete - Create a culture of continuous improvement, change and world class service delivery - Manage program communication and risk plans for successful delivery - Prior experience in working with organizational change management/leadership and process change management. - Prior development experience with exposure to technology migration projects and co-existence strategy implementations. - Very strong people skill,Very strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Fast learner, Analytical/Strategic Thinker and Problem Solver, Flexible, Efficient and Organized Roles and responsibility '- Acts as the key gatekeeper for work entering the agile engineering silo, forming all product requests in terms of intake, prioritization, and planning. - Tracks all work occurring in the engineering silo, both for work in intake and work in development. - Schedules and facilitates typical agile ceremonies: e.g., daily standup, weekly sprint initiation, team retrospectives etc. - Creates & reports on weekly sprint plans. - Manages sprint milestones and drive resolution for responsibilities owned by developers, testers, and Client. - Owns & updates documentation describing the agile process. - Owns tracking of production release process efficacy. - Owns & refines the process to collect high-level estimates to feed into strategic planning. - Manages work breakdown, execution, and communication for strategic or cross-team projects. - Collects & distributes metrics on engineering team performance & efficiency. - Coordinates functions pertaining to defects arising from code scans performed by an internal security department. - Assists the Search engineering Manager with other recurring or administrative tasks.
