Role                       : Infrastructure Architect

Location               : San Antonio, TX

Duration              : 6+ Months

 

Job Description:

Skill Level, Experience – L3, 8-10+ yrs. If we can get someone having experience with Media customers, it will be good.

Role:

Infrastructure Architect focused on:

·            Workplace (Remote Support, Apps Packaging, Software Distribution, Image mgmt), Exchange, Office 365, AD domains/ technologies

·            Good understanding of x86 servers

Responsibilities:

·         Actively participate in quarterly technology reviews

·         Present recommendations that may reduce costs, streamline processes, and improve service

·         Share supplier's experience in supporting other clients

·         Ensure only authorized technologies are installed, unless an approval for an exception has been obtained

·         Monitor and report on variances against authorized technologies and configurations

·         Perform root cause analysis for problems and correct the underlying issue

·         Provide for review and approval the operational documentation for all operations procedures and services, as well as publish and maintain the approved operational documentation

 

 

Role                       : Infrastructure Project Manager, IT Services

Location               : Alpharetta, GA

Duration              : 3-6+ Months / Fulltime

 

Job Description:

As a Project Manager in IT Services you will have the opportunity to work with teams of professionals implementing solutions to support multiple business service lines at COMPANY. These solutions are core to COMPANY's business strategy and will leverage the latest technologies in analytics, cloud computing, engagement team collaboration and knowledge sharing. You will be responsible for engaging with internal clients to advise and shape projects to meet their needs, and then to lead a team to deliver those projects so that the Company exceed customer expectations.

COMPANY project managers are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects. You will work with teams that are geographically dispersed and comprised of all disciplines required to deliver IT solutions for our customers, including architects, business analysts, application engineers, quality assurance & testers.

The project manager is responsible for delivering projects on a global enterprise scale, managing timeline, scope, budget and quality according to COMPANYs  IT project management methodology.

Communications is a  Client's to success. The project manager must have excellent skills in stakeholder relationship management and be able to effectively lead cross-discipline teams made up of both technical and business resources

Essential Functions of the Job:

               End-to-end delivery of IT Services programs and projects sponsored by one or more business service lines

               Successfully executing projects to agreed time, scope, budget and quality including developing objectives and plans to deliver on the business case benefits, budget and timescales.

               Performing the project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management ensuring that the required artifacts (e.g. project charter) are delivered and approved appropriately based upon COMPANY's  IT project management methodology

               Planning for, monitoring and managing change through formal change management processes and stakeholder/customer relationship management including reporting on variances to the approved project baseline and managing the approval or mitigation of these as appropriate

               Managing project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project including performing gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with all aspects of IT organization and business sponsors

               Closing the project and formalizing acceptance of the project results ensuring that the benefits realization have been achieved or a formal plan is in place to manage these

               Communicating with project teams, management, customers and stakeholders including implementing and working through defined governance processes.

               Coaching and mentoring both customers and project team members in delivery fundamentals and the benefits to successful delivery.

               Provide weekly status reporting for client's IT initiatives, deliverables, risk, issues and program financials

               Manage external contracts and suppliers related to a given project

               Provide level four incident and problem management support for enterprise applications deployed to production

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

               Monitor and manage project baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope, budget and schedule and managing variances

               Proactively identify risks and issues on projects - leading team to develop risk management and issue management plans

               Ability to balance both the "science" of how to perform project management and the "art" of project management, which is learned through experience and skill training/application

               Perform business case analysis and create meaningful project estimates

               Identify project risks and manage effectively

               Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the COMPANY competency principles and practices, including the ability to coach and teach

               Identify challenges and propose meaningful solutions

               Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills in leading the project team in issue resolution

               Contribute to the general knowledgebase of the team, and develop and communicate best practices to facilitate the team's collective professional growth

               Operate as a self-starter and with minimal supervision on project delivery

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

(Describe the knowledge or skills needed to perform this job; these may be technical, managerial or behavioral in nature.)

               Proven track record of successful delivery of multiple global and/or regional projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost for large, complex projects that includes the use of supplier and off-shore resources

               Track record of customer focus and stakeholder management based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises

               Mastery of project management methodology, tools and templates (includes program/project planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management)

               Experience in applying IT methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile)

               Experience managing across the full systems development life cycle – initiate and plan, elaborate, design, build, test, deploy, and support

               Excellent written and verbal communication skills

               Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

               Highly organized and able to  multi-task

               Analytical skills and problem solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously

               IT background and fast learner with an understanding of technology

               Ability to work in a team environment and bring about consensus on contradicting views

               Ability to provide exceptional follow through and be customer-service driven

               Demonstrated ability to work with globally dispersed virtual project teams

               High degree of tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment

               Ability to communicate and manage up (Executive/Senior Management), down (Project Team), and across (Peer Groups, Stakeholders, etc.)

               Microsoft Office proficient, including MS Project and Visio

Supervision Responsibilities:

(Describe the level of supervision received (i.e., the frequency of supervisory contact, degree to which the individual acts independently and on what kinds of issues).  Describe the level of supervision of others, if any (i.e., assigning work, reviewing performance, direct or indirect responsibility).

Frequency of Supervisory Contact:

               Supervisory contact: The Project Manager is expected to conduct regular 1:1 briefings with the Service Delivery Manager on an on-going and regular basis.  Project Managers are expected to conduct effective 1:1 briefings that provide a high-level overview of project health, accomplishments, issues, action items and guidance/assistance as needed.

               Supervisory communication and managing escalation: Project Managers are expected to synthesize and communicate project and business issues on an on-going basis, manage the Service Delivery Lead's awareness of major issues, and help to prevent escalations, where possible.

Supervising Others:

               The Project Manager is expected to conduct ongoing, regular team meetings to communicate project health, accomplishments, issues, action items and guidance/assistance as needed.

               The Project Manager has direct responsibility for the work stream of project managers, business analysts and transition managers, which includes assigning and prioritizing work activities, managing issues and escalations, customer relationship management, performance review, creating a positive, productive team environment, and informal mentoring/coaching activities.

Other Requirements:

Job Requirements:

Education:

               A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience

Experience:

(What is minimum number of years needed/suggested to perform this job?)

               10+ years in a corporate IT environment

               5+ years of formal experience in project management for IT projects (application development, deployment/implementation or infrastructure projects)

               Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred

               Work experience in a global enterprise role, preferred

Certification Requirements:

(Describe and explain any certifications and/or licenses needed or helpful to perform this job).

               Project management certification is preferred (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2)

               Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3 would be advantageous

Role                       : Scrum Master- Project Manager

Location               : McLean, VA

Duration              : 6-12+ Months / Fulltime

 

Job Description:

         Facilitate effective and efficient meetings including Agile/Scrum ceremonies

         Remove impediments for teams

         Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery

         Maintain transparency into the team's work through metrics

         Be a servant leader to each team member and support the removal of blockers

         Engage multiple roles and stakeholders in critical discussions and consensus building

         Coach and support continuous improvement within the team

         Help identify and mitigate any external dependency risks in feature/product development

         Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and their teams on deliverables

         Experience in project/program management

         Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery

         Responsible for acting as the primary interface between a specific business/functional area and their IT partners.

         Identify and resolve operational issues with business areas.

         Ability to work independently and effectively with staff at all levels and from multiple divisions.

         Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

         Strong organization and presentation skills.

Qualifications

                10+ years relevant experience in a software development or delivery organization

                A minimum of 2+ year experience as a full-time Scrum Master

                A thorough understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, values, and practices

                Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a must

                PMP is a plus

                Project Management Experience in managing software development projects

                Experience working in an environment utilizing current and leading edge technologies (e.g. SaaS, Enterprise Web Applications, etc.) preferred

                At least 10+ years of experience in all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.

                At least 10+ years of experience in taking projects from original concept through final implementation interfacing with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.

                BS in Engineering or related discipline strongly desire
