Job Title: Senior QA Analyst
Location: Oakland, CA
Duration: 12+ Months

Job description:-
Review core project documentation and perform ambiguity reviews.

• Develop project testing artifacts such test strategies, test plans and traceability matrix.
• Create and execute reusable test cases and develop applicable test data to validate the entire application in various phases of development.
• Collaborate with Business Users, BSAs and Development teams in addressing gaps in project documentation and testing strategies.
• Develop, size and plan for multiple testing approaches to multi-phase delivery projects, mentor junior QA analysts and be able to lead defect review meetings and status reporting.
• Manage multiple tasks and/or simultaneous deliverables – hitting deadlines without reduction in quality.
• Expertise in Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing
• Advanced SQL / Queries knowledge and knowledge of data modelling
• Collaborate with Business Users, BSAs and Development teams in addressing gaps in project documentation and testing strategies
• Manage multiple tasks and/or simultaneous deliverables – hitting deadlines without reduction in quality
• Cross Functional skills - Functional & Automation, managing the creation and maintenance of an automation framework, certify automation scripts, provide recommendations, run already developed automation scripts, review automation reports.
• Candidate will be required to work non-standard hours at times, co-ordinate with offshore team and will partner with all technology disciplines.
• Follow QA Road Map, identify process gaps and provide process improvements

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of an overall functional test/automation strategy, Project Estimates (SOWs, RFPs, Change Controls, etc.)
• Creation and maintenance of the Project Test Plan, maintenance and management of the Project Schedule
• Develop and execute manual test cases
• Expertise in Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Managing the creation of reusable test suite and maintenance of reusable test cases in an automation framework
• Develop basic automation scripts, review automation script and execute current automation suite.
• Managing the client relationship and Test Status Reporting
• Having excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Proactively manage towards improving defect prevention
