Title: SAS Analyst/ Programmer

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Interview: Phone & Skype

Start Date: ASAP             

 

Requirements:

·         8-10 years SAS programming in BASE SAS and SAS Enterprise Guide (EG)

·         Health Care Industry experience

·         SQL experience

·         Oracle or SQL Server Database experience

·         Must have excellent communication

·         SAS MACROS, and PROC REPORTS or TABULATE;

·         PROC SQL;

·         SAS based ETL processes

·         Very good communication skills

Desired Experience:

·         Teradata

 

Role:

·         Serve as the SAS Expert for health care client by creating SAS Reports/ SAS Process

·         Mentoring new staff on SAS

·         Assist staff via email and phone and in-person on SAS related queries – Mainly email and phone support

·         Use of external files in SAS process

·         SAS interaction / performance with the Data Warehouse

·         Will be involved in User Help support approximately 3 hours per day.

·         Will maintain the Meta Data on a monthly basis using proprietary tool. Training will be provided. Approx. 8 hours per month.

·         Support about 400 users which includes 40-60 SAS users
