Role: Hadoop Developer with Java

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: 6+ months

Interview: Phone + In-person (Locals Preferred)

 

Description:

 

·         Development of Hadoop MapReduce code for the business needs.

·         Very broadly the team works on analytics around prospect data. How new prospects can be reached with offers, etc.

·         Client buys data from 3rd parties, join it with internal data and use that to reach prospects through various channels(online, email, phone, Mail).

 

Requirements:

 

·         Expert programming competence in language Java

·         Experience with Hadoop/HDFS/MapReduce

·         Experience with HBase/NoSQL or similar technology is plus

·         Excellent problem solving and communication skills and thrives in a highly collaborative and dynamic work environment
