Location :     Sunnyvale, CA, United States
Duration :    12 Months

Primary Skills :

·         3+ years' experience operating Hadoop services, preferably in a large-scale production environment (1000+ Nodes cluster preferred)
·         Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and tuning services (specifically HIVE) and applications
·         Strong experience working with standard Hadoop ecosystem components and applications such as MapReduce, HDFS, and Hive.
·         Experience extending standard HIVE capabilities is strongly desired.
·         Experience running and troubleshooting Java applications. Java programming background is required.

Secondary Skills:

·         Work closely with engineering teams and participate in the infrastructure development and framework development as required
·         Automate deployment and management of Hadoop services including implementing monitoring Capacity planning of Hadoop clusters based on application requirement
