Position  QA with Selenium & some Java programming exp

 

As a QA Automation Engineer, your duties may include but are not limited to the following:

·         Ensure that our software is high-quality and meets requirements, stability, scaling and performance goals.

·         Design and build functional, system, integration, regression, automation and performance testing, file bugs and communicate about issues.

·         Identify, execute and support continuous improvement of the QA process.

·         Implement automated processes to track failure and success over time to help identify high-impact issues, maintain effective code coverage, and prevent deployment of code of unacceptable quality.

·         Expand our tests to ensure end-to-end coverage.

·         Help to reproduce and filter bug reports.

·         Assist in security assessment of applications and platforms.

·         Build tools to help us test more efficiently.

Needed 

·         Good written and oral communications skills. 

·         Strong organizational skills. 

·         Inquisitive, analytics, empirically minded proponent of the scientific method.

·         Unwavering attention to detail. 

·         Commitment to positive, collaborative test methodologies.

·         General understanding of basic data structures and algorithms. 

·         Knowledge of Selenium and automated cross-browser and cross-platform testing of web applications. 

·         Prior experience in a software design and/or testing environment is desirable. 

·         Knowledge of a scripting language like Python is desirable.

·         Knowledge of Javascript and common browser debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, Firebug, etc) desirable.
