Job Title :: Senior Security Engineer
Duration :: 10-12 Month Contract

Rate: $50 per hour on C2C
seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a government client in Brooklyn, NY.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, analysis, and implementation of network using CISCO security technologies.
- Ensure IP routing, Internet and networking technologies, NAT, routing protocols, and network security, Firewalls, Proxies and VPN are working as planned.
- Optimizing network to provide anticipated performance as per design requirements.
- Verify connectivity, routing, and automatic failover are working as designed.
- Resolve any complex issues of network and firewall problems related to the implementation.
- Validate Network compliance with DoITT standards.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- At least 8 years of experience with Cisco ASA and Checkpoint firewalls.
- Checkpoint firewall or Cisco firewall certification or CISSP certification or UNIX/Linux build and administration certification.
