Job Description:

Must have good communication, this is important.  And the key is to have Knowledge of the securities brokerage business - trading and risk.

 

Our client, a major investment bank in NYC is looking for an Informatica Developer/Consultant, to join their Financial Technology Group.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

·         The Consultant will actively participate in development and modification of ETL code, for Finance Rules Engine data flows which will be impacted as a result of onboarding of new Equities Settlement platform (Broadridge BPS).

·         This role will also be tasked with working with offshore ETL resources to deliver a quality software code.

·         Assist Team Lead in executing the project plan and meeting due dates

·         Assist Team Lead and/or own release management of the systems developed

·          

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE POSITION:

 

·         6+ years as Informatica Developer

·         Knowledge of the securities brokerage business - trading and risk.

·         6+ years with Oracle (or equivalent database experience).

·         Unix shell and SQL scripting

·         Development of Test Plan, Test Scripts and Test Documentation for user review and sign off.

·         Autosys or other scheduling software

·         Performance Tuning

·         Create support documents for Level 1 support team

·         Fully versed with SDLC process including agile methodology

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with total of 10+ years of experience

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

 

·         Good understanding of XML and Messaging systems..
