Position:   Lead Cloud engineer/Architect

Location:   Reston, VA

Duration:   6-12 Months

 

Job Description:

 

Lead Cloud engineer/Architect with experience with setting up Lab environments using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and standalone (non-cloud) solutions.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:-

·         experience as a software developer using languages such as Ruby, Python, Shell scripting, PHP, JAVA with at least 2 years setting up AWS

·         Working knowledge of DevOps tool set

·         Experience with migrating and installing databases (System Admin kind of skill set)

·         Experience building PaaS solutions in Private OpenStack and/or AWS

·         Experience automating routine task with Chef or Puppet

·         Support creation of production like deployment procedures for Local Developer laptops

·         Support design and implement environments within AWS

OTHER TOOLS NEEDED:

·         Maven, Hudson

·         Puppet/Chef

·         Docker

·         Jenkins, Nexus

·         Github

·         IBM SoftLayer
