Position: Java Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 06 Months

Experience: 8+ years

 

Job Description:

 

we are looking for very strong Java programmer with hands-on experience with API Management platforms, preferably Apigee."

 

 
Job Responsibilities:

 

•          Hands on Development, Deployment & Support of Java/J2EE Applications
•          Hands on Development & Maintenance of APIs using API Management Platform
•          Proactively identify and suggest architectural improvements in as-is Systems.
•          Document and follow best design and development practices

 

Experience:

 

•          BS/MS CS/SE/EE degree or equivalent with 8+ years of Java/J2EE experience in the field of Software Engineering and Development
•          Minimum 5+ years of strong hands-on development experience with Java (5.0/6.0), J2EE and related technologies
•          Minimum 1 year hands-on experience on Apigee (preferable) or any other API Management platform
•          Extensive hands-on development experience with frameworks and tools including Webservices (REST/SOAP),  Maven etc.
•          Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices in Java/J2EE platform including UI, Application & Frameworks development.
•          Strong Experience/Knowledge on Data modeling (RDBMS, XSD, JSON), Database/XML interaction & SQL.
•          Experience developing with latest versions of RAD IDEs like Eclipse.
•          Exposure to Agile Methodology
