Position                : Java Developer

Location               : New York City, Jersey City

Duration              : 6-12 Months

Experience         : 3-5 Years

 

Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:

SOAP

·         Ability to implement a web based management toolkit

Java-J2EE

·         Should be able to design, develop, debug programs independently and mentor others.

·         Good understanding of Java EE 5 platform, Annotations, JPA, Dependency injection, EJB 3.0, Web services, JSF 1.2, JSP2.1, Servlet 2.5, JSTL 1.2 and the simpler packaging rules.

·         Aware of JMX, JTA.

·         Usage of right Design Patterns, proper user, session managements, should also be conversent with developing application with various presentation and persistence models, Performance optimizations, Caching. Should be able to design using J2EE technologies.

·         Should be able to architect a solution in this technology area fora given problem statement.

·         In depth knowledge of multi tire architecture.

·         Should be able to design and architect solution around J2EE, should be well versed with stacking and layering of architecture modeling, should be conversent with decision making in terms of technology comparison with J2EEtechnologies

·         Should be able to understand customer business requirements and propose optimal solutions around J2EE technologies focusing on simplifications, virtualization, aggregation and automation.

·         Should be aware of the fundamentals and basics on J2EE Overview, Architecture, Components, Clients, Containers, Technologies (overview of HTML, JavaScript, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Struts, XML,EJB,?..), Request handling and coding knowledge.

·         Should understand - what is unit testing (Screen testing, Class testing etc. what to use when)

·         Understands characteristics of a service oriented architecture

·         Understands different approaches for integration and messaging

·         Understands the approaches for communicating with an external system Can define web services and web application use cases for different business interactions.

·         Can evaluate products and propose optimal solution for a given problem.
