Build, upgrade and migrate SQL server from its lower version to latest version is an essential Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Technical documentation skills Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment This position required experience with installing and maintaining sql server 2012 , 2008 and 2005 databases in standalone and cluster environments (experience with sql 2012 a must). Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems. Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Experience with HA and DR methodologies (clustering and Mirroring, Replication and Log shipping) Experience with backups, restores and recovery models. Experience with Database upgrades and migrations. Good communication and documentation skills.
