Technical Project Manager

Location: South Bay, CA (Locals only)

Term: 6+ Months

We are seeking an exceptionally bright and motivated individual to play the role of Technical Project Manager on multiple technical Projects for Online store (ecommerce). The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail on par with Clients high standards, coupled with a deep technical understanding of building scalable web applications and the ability to translate business process needs to functional and technical requirements. The Candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, be a pro-active solution-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication Skills. Exceptional project management skills, a maniacal attention to detail and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across the Organization is key qualities required to be able to excel in this role.

Overview:

• Experience successfully completing/delivering multiple projects utilizing an Agile methodology while operating as the Scrum Master
• High ownership, self-sufficient, hands-on leader to drive quality across the project; in usability and experience from requirements, technical design reviews, testing and more - the position requires hands-on, get-the-job-done, attitude

• Ability to reason logically and creatively, identifying problems, drawing valid conclusions from the data available, and develop effective solutions while applying creative thinking in the design and development of high performing web applications

• Drive technical aspects of interactive web projects, internal systems and supporting processes
• Experience using project management tools and defect tracking tools

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing best in class solutions that are fully integrated with Clients Information Technology standards
• Manage projects, setting priorities and measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting on the process, progress and results
• Review technical development team deliverables for accuracy and completeness
• Exercise sound management practices and support a productive environment
• Effectively communicate project status to management on a regular basis

Qualifications:

• Web application design, implementation, and support expertise, exposure to ecommerce projects
• Hands on experience with design and development of highly available, distributed and scalable enterprise systems
• Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking capabilities and possess good troubleshooting skills
• Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, tools and best practices
• Passion for quality and attention to detail
• Ability to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management;
• Ability to work with vendors, cross functional teams, internal partners
• Proven ability to manage to deadlines and meet cost constraints
• Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
