Job: .NET Developer
Location: Irving, TX
Term: 6 months CTH

Local candidates only, In-person interview required!

This position will contribute to a team on variety of projects including making enhancements to existing .Net, C# windows services, WPF, as well as converting a legacy VB6 to web based application using ASP.Net MVC 4, C#, WCF- WebServices in a SOA, Entity Framework, and SQL Server development in SQL Server 2008 or later.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on C# programming - write new application and data access code, including SQL objects, Windows services and Web services
• Respond to bug reports, provide support during system outages
• Test code and manage source control repositories using TFS and VSS, monitoring file processing, data updates, and handle urgent support requests.
• Create time and resource estimations and milestones
• Participate and conduct meetings to gather/clarify business requirements from users and business analysts
• Write technical documentation addressing the business requirements provided by business analyst and assist in managing projects with various methodologies such as Hybrid-Agile and SCRUM.
• Work with non-technical staff and external partners in debugging and problem resolution
• Prepare written periodic reports as needed.

Requirements

• Experience designing .NET C# enterprise applications with auditing, enterprise workflow, business process integration, and overall system management and support components
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and ASP.Net MVC 3 or 4
• Experienced in JQuery, JavaScript, and other client side scripting languages.
• Knowledge of third party tools like KendoUI or Telerik controls is a plus.
• Experience with developing Microsoft based components, services, or web client applications in a high availability, clustered environment
• Exemplary general IT knowledge (systems analysis, development, testing, deployment, operations, documentation, standards, best practices, security, hardware, networking, OS, DBMS, middleware, etc.)
• Experience with interaction with legacy systems and phased application integration
• Outstanding written, verbal, and diagrammatic communication skills and attention to quality and detail
• Experience with coding and debugging T-SQL objects.
• Experience in VB6 would be a plus for occasional changes to a legacy application
