Role: PHP Applications Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 3+ months

 

We are looking for a PHP developer to assist in the refactoring of an existing custom PHP application to utilize Doctrine ORM. This individual will also help define the best practices and coding standards around the use and extension of the new entity structures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of, and experience with, PHP and Doctrine ORM. 
  
• Strong knowledge of, and experience with, MySQL queries, stored procs, and triggers.
  
• Understanding of MVC design patterns.
  
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  
• Knowledge of the Slim framework is a plus.
  
• Strong communication skills.
  
• Ability to work well within a small team.
