TITLE: Java/WebSphere Developer

LOCATION: Mechanicsburg, Pa

DURATION: 6-12 MONTH CONTRACT

 

Position Description: Developer with websphere Experience

This is an advanced-level information technology contractor position. The successful candidate will play a central Java framework development role on a small team developing a new in-house data exchange platform firmly grounded in Service Oriented Architecture principles within a WebSphere Application Server environment. The platform will support both internal case management system application integration and external data integration with the Client's many business partners. The project includes rapid conversion of functionality from the existing internal and external integration solutions onto the new platform.

 

Required:

·         WebSphere Application Server (WAS):

·         Installation, configuration, and administration

·         Understanding of the WebSphere Application Delivery Architecture including asset

·         Registration and business level application (BLA) definition

·         J2SE SDK development

·         EJB 3.0 development and deployment within WAS

·         J2EE standard APIs supported within WAS (JDBC, JMS, JNDI, Dependency Injection, Managed Beans)

 

Optional:

·         MQ Server and WAS integration experience

·         Experience with Eclipse Plugin or OSGI development

·         Experience with Service Component Architecture framework as implemented in WAS

·         Modeling experience: XML Schema, UML object modeling, relational database
