I'm Mazhar Khan, with Systel . We've an urgent requirement with one of our client for Linux Kernel engineer – Networking. Position: Linux Kernel engineer – Networking

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Duration: 6 Months

 

Description:

A minimum of five year experience with software development in Linux Kernel
Prior experience with implementing, debugging/profiling high-speed (10G+) packet processing / networking code in kernel and userspace

Required Skills:
Solid understanding of production-quality Linux Kernel modules and device drivers
Experience with developing code, gluing logic, and testing harnesses using scripting (shell, Python, etc.)
Good understanding of modern Intel System Architecture including IO, memory, cache and virtualization technologies
Experience with system/network performance analysis/tools (EMON, vTune, oprofile, wireshark etc.)

Preferred Skills:
Prior development with Intel DPDK
Experience with network traffic generators, e.g., from Spirent, IXIA and NG4T
Programming done in Openstack environment (for OpenFlow, Open vSwitch, or SDN in general)
