Client is seeking candidates for an Senior UI Developer position with Investment Banking Industry in Jersey City, NJ. Scope of the project involves building HTML5 based booking system in the Collateral domain. Project is executed in a global delivery model including business center in NY, offshore team and other stakeholders located globally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design user interfaces with HTML5 and Angular JS meeting the usability, scalability, and performance requirements
• Work with BA's and business users to understand requirements and do prototypes to bring out multiple design choices
• Create reusable libraries and setup best practices to standardize the UI and improve the productivity
• Lead development team with different skill sets to deliver the modules end to end
• Prepares comprehensive documentation, and ensures timely completion of assigned work
Required Skills:
• 7+ years' of experience in UI development with various modern frame works including Angular JS and JQuery
• Expertise in Java Script, Angular JS, CSS3, Ajax and JSON
• Expert in Java Script and building reusable libraries
• Extensive experience in developing enterprise web applications built using leading edge Javascript/MVC frameworks
• Experience in dealing with cross browser compatibility issues
• Experience in working with one or more of the application servers preferably Weblogic and Tomcat
• Strong UI design, programming skills and architecture patterns like MVC
• Integrate with dispersed global team and deliver the work on time
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in agile environment
• Ability to handle teams working in multiple sites (onsite, offshore)
Nice to Have:
• Experience in building web applications using J2EE and Spring.
• Investment banking experience
