Job Title:   Hadoop Big Data - Technology Lead
Location:   New York City,NY  or Palo Alto, CA
Duration:   6-12 months Contract

 

Required background:
Should have overall experience of 7 + years
Extensive knowledge about Hadoop Architecture and HDFS.
Ability to implement Hadoop based solutions.
Experience of building and coding applications using Hadoop components  HDFS, Hbase, Hive etc.
Experience of coding Java, MapReduce, Hive.
Experience with HBASE, PIG will be added advantage.
Good in REGEX or can learn, Can learn to read Perl scripts.
Should be able to write Hive scripts/UDF, Expertise with shell scripts
Should have ability to develop design and code, completing programming and documentation, and performing testing for complex application.
Should be able to take complete ownership to drive his own deliverables and the teams deliverables on time and with quality.
Should have understanding of best practices.
Should be able to work in demanding customer environment and work with large teams in global delivery model.
