Job Description
§ This position will work within the New Business Group to support various animatronic and digital technology initiatives.
§ The main focus will be supporting project engineers on both demo and final production software
§ Build custom software solutions and APIs using a variety of interesting technology stacks
§ Building Linux based software solutions
§ JavaScript, CoffeeScript (not a must), Node.js development on various projects
§ Work on multiple projects simultaneously on a daily basis
§ Assist in the configuration and development of commercial, custom and open source systems
§ Day-to-day maintenance and updates on software
§ Enthusiasm to learn new technology and contribute to innovation
Experience
§ 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, CoffeScript (not a must), C++
§ 2+ years of hands-on experience working on Linux solutions
§ Experience with flow based programming
§ Experience with and comfortable working a Linux environment
§ Experience with flow based software design patterns
§ Experience in an agile development environment
§ Strong experience in scalable network applications
§ Strong communication skills
§ Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware solutions
