Immediate Opening - PHP Developer/Front End Developer - King of Prussia, PA - Contract

We have an immediate opening for PHP/Front End Web Developer position with our client based out in King of Prussia, PA. Please find the job requirement below.

Location : King of Prussia, PA
Duration : 12 months+

Note : Looking for only Local candidates.

Our client is looking for a senior web with impeccable front-end development skills as well as competence in light server-side coding.

 

You will be a member of a cross-functional team that builds and supports web stores and microsites across a variety of platforms, from full e-commerce systems like Magento to simple static sites built with Jekyll. Given the breadth of work we do, ability and flexibility to shift gears quickly are essential.

 

To fit our team, you should see web development as craft and have a drive to always hone your core skills and learn new techniques. While framework and library skills are a bonus, you should be able to work equally well without them in any language you use.

 

As a senior developer, you should be adept at both technical and non-technical communication: able to mentor junior developers while quickly switching gears to work with non-technical colleagues and clients.

 

Essential Skills & Experience

·         Expertise in HTML5 and responsive CSS3

·         Expertise in raw JavaScript without dependence on libraries

·         Strong knowledge of a server side programming language, such as JSP/JSTL, PHP, Python, Ruby or Node.js

·         Understanding of OOP

·         Comfort with the Linux command line

·         Knowledge of accessibility and front-end performance best practices

·         Experience with version control, ideally SVN

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

 

Preferred Skills & Experience

·         Experience with JSP/JSTL

·         Experience with SASS, Grunt and similar workflow tools

·         Experience in an interactive agency setting, ideally with e-commerce
