Title:                    Cassandra Consultant (DBA OR Developer)

Location:              Philadelphia, PA

Duration:              Contract

 

Job Description:

·         Primarily Responsible for design/implementation/optimization of a new Cassandra-based graph database.

·         Solid experience with performance optimization of Java generally, and Cassandra specifically and knowledge of other related cutting edge technologies as described.

·         Candidate should have good experience working on Cassandra database.

·         Should have Deep understanding of the Cassandra architecture & Concepts (Cluster Structure, Partitioner, Read/Write Path, Replication, tunable consistency).

·         Experience troubleshooting large scale distributed systems.

·         Should have good experience working on Java development and API Integration with Cassandra.

·         Deploy Cassandra clusters using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools.

·         Should have written CQL scripts for moving data between Cassandra, Hive and flat files.

·         Should have excellent communication skills.
