Software Engineer – C#.Net

Minneapolis, MN

6-12+ Months/ Contract

 MOI :- Phone then Skype

 

Client: Medtronic – Can submit 2-4 guys

 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

·         Perform Root Cause Analysis of software anomalies for Connected Care Patient Management.

·         Develop and apply standard methods of troubleshooting.

·         Develop and test software to automate detection of anomalies and enhance system recovery.

 

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         The Software Engineer will be responsible for Product Support of web-based, mobile, and custom medical device applications.

·         The engineer will perform these functions and provide associated documentation.

·         The position requires the candidate to work cross-functionally with project teams comprised of software verification, development engineers, system engineers, and quality representatives.

 

 

Tasks include:

- Read and analyze system requirements

- Identify root cause of anomalies

- Use SQL skills to evaluate data and determine if data recovery is necessary

- Develop strategies to automate the detection of anomalies and develop method of auto correction

- Design and execution of tests using automated and manual test tools as part of the development process

- Establish and maintain traceability from software requirements to verification test design and implementation.

- Participate in the technical review of peer development and test code - Assist development team on debugging and solving issues discovered support activities

- Prepare, review, submit, and maintain project/product documentation.

 

 

Technologies: Microsoft C# development, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft MVC Framework
