Position:: Java/ J2EE Developer
Location:: Austin, TX
Duration:: Long term contract
Description::
The services to be provided include, but are not limited to the following:
· Design and development of web services in an enterprise environment.
· Design and development of Java and portal based web applications in an enterprise environment.
· Assisting with the integration of web services with those developed by enterprise stakeholders and trading partners
· Worker ensures compliance with: approved standard operating policies and procedures (SOPs); approved scalable project management methodology including justification, initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing; the Texas Project Delivery Framework, software engineering procedures including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment; and quality and testing standards for deployment into production.
· Worker shall have strong writing, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with project management experience.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

| 7 | Experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise Database architectures on the Oracle platform |
| 7 | Experience in using Java J2EE, SOA |
| 7 | Experience with Websphere |
| 7 | Development experience with Websphere Portal Server, JSP, Servlets, LDAP, Portlets, EJB, JDBC, SQL, and JNDI required. |
| 7 | Strong understanding and knowledge of the Websphere/J2EE architecture, EJB, UML, Patterns/Frameworks, JDBC/OBDC, UML modeling & OOD skills, and J2EE integration points with external or third party products. Strong understanding of the MVC patterns or the STRUTS framework |
| 7 | Strong experience developing web services in an enterprise environment |
| 5 | SQL programming experience. Knowledge of JDBC interactions with relational databases. Ability to create, read and understand Oracle/Sybase based stored procedures or a related database application (e.g.,DB2). |

Preferences:
