Below is the detailed job description.

 

Job Title: Functional Tester

Work Location:  Richmond, VA

Duration: 12 months

Total Experience Required:4 + years

 

MAX Rate: $40/hr.

 

Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills : 
       

1. Have good knowledge of Test Automation Tool HP QTP 11.0

2. Test management tool Application Lifecycle Management (ALM 11.0, Bugzilla).

3. Good Communication/Presentation skills.

4. Good analytical skills.

5. Have good software testing methodology

6. Have system development life cycle including ability to analyze business requirement, design, development & maintenance of Test Strategy, Test plans, Test Cases and  Test scenarios.

7. Test Execution, Defect Management, Status Reporting.

8. Perform complete end to end testing for a release - This will include unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, user interface testing, batch process testing and production support testing.                                               

9. Creation and execution of automation scripts.

 

Desirable Technical/ Functional Skills

1. Knowledge on using Bugzilla, Selenium will be an added advantage.

2. PDF Comparison tool (Beyond Compare, Paloma Print).

3. Domain Knowledge on Annuity line of Insurance business.

4. Knowledge on Policy admin system.
