Responsibilities:

Develop ASP.NET MVC webpages that are part of a large commercial software package

Create new applications as well as extend and enhance the existing applications

Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions based on those requirements

Collaborate with the Business Analysts on the user experience and look-and-feel of the applications

Participate in code and design reviews

Write design and technical specification documents

 

 

Required Skills:

Four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Extensive experience with C# and ASP.NET

Minimum of three years working as a client-side web developer using JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, and HTML5

Product development using ASP.NET MVC 3 or above

Experience developing public-facing B2B/B2C websites

Cross-browser debugging and testing knowledge is desirable

Strong knowledge of OO principles, design patterns, and SDLC methodologies

Understanding of multi-tiered application development/deployment as it relates to the Internet

Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, on multiple tasks

Strong planning and communication skills
