We have an urgent requirement for our client based in Phoenix, AZ

 

Role : Data Architect

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Duration : 12 Months

 

Roles and Responsibilities :

 

·         Responsible for the technical direction of platform(s) or set of applications within a portfolio, providing consulting expertise,

·         Leveraging business and technical knowledge to support business strategies and deliver business value.

·         Plays an integral role in building and enhancing the infrastructure required to support the platform(s) or set of applications in terms of robustness, scalability, availability and efficiency.

·         Works with Technical and Business Architects to ensure developments support the business and IT strategic plan.

Required Skills :

 

·         Typically holds a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or has equivalent work experience).

·         Typically has prior experience in multiple IT disciplines with a proven understanding of architectural concepts (data, technical and solution), issues and trends.

·         Familiar with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework).

·         Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design and integration with a detailed understanding of applicable programming methodologies.

·         Extensive experience using a systems analysis and design methodology and an excellent understanding of industry trends and tools.

·         Performs as a high-level, technical subject matter expert for the platform/applications supported (which may cover multiple applications).

·         Has responsibility for the technical direction of the platform(s)/applications within the supported portfolio.

·         Ensures accuracy in terms of asset management for the portfolio supported.

·         May lead teams performing architecture initiatives from inception to conclusion.

·         Experience in DQH is mandatory

·         Experience in SQL, Teradata, Java is needed
