Description:

Our Client, is looking for Oracle PL/SQL Developer who will provide expert PL/SQL support to the Application Maintenance Services Team.
 
Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist developers, analysts and designers in the maintenance of software programs and applications, primarily focused on Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms development involving several significant enhancements to the Division of Waste Management's Storage      

• Tank & Contamination Monitoring (STCM) system;

• Perform application refactoring and migration for Classic ASP applications that are transitioning to the Windows 2012 Server environment;

• Provide ongoing support for applications that support the Department's permitting, compliance and enforcement activities;

• Assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications;

• Research and document requirements of program users;

• Write, translate and code software programs and applications according to specifications;

• Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines;

• Work with network administrators, systems analysts and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems;

• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior programmers.

 

Requirements:

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Classic ASP (7+ years);

• Experience with Java Frameworks such as Struts/Tiles, Struts 2, Servlets/JSP, JPA/Hibernate (3+ years preferred);

• Experience with XML, HTML and CSS (3+ years preferred);

• Knowledge of the goals and objectives of supporting applications in an enterprise Information Technology application maintenance environment (preferred);

• Experience with Agile development practices, specifically SCRUM and Kanban (preferred);

• Experience with environmental regulatory business processes and practices (preferred);

• Knowledge and understanding of DEP's technical environment (preferred).
