Must-Have         PL/SQL

Oracle 9i/ 10g/ 11g

Unix Shell Scripting

Informatica MDM 9.x

Informatica Power Centre

Good-to-Have   Experience with Healthcare

Version used by customer           Informatica MDM 9.x

MDM knowledge

 

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Driving MDM and ETL architecture and design discussions with the client and TCS teams

Gathering the functional and technical requirements for ETL/MDM workstream

Design of the Cleanse functions & Match rules for various business entities

Designing ETL mappings, User Exits, Match rules etc.

Tuning the Informatica env. for improved performance.

Creating ETL workflows in Informatica for Initial Data Load. Cleansing in ETL process, reducing User Exits, creating and re-organizing batch groups etc.

Performance Tuning of existing processes.

Creating generic processes to provide a better development framework and reduce the development and testing turnaround time.
