Position: .Net Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: Contract

Experience – 8+ Years

 

Description:

 

Proven experience in the following: ASP.NET (C#), .NET 4.0 or greater is preferred
• Experience in the development and support of SharePoint solutions, web parts, web services, and work flows using industry best practices is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database technologies such as MS SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, and stored procedures, etc
• Proficiency using Visual Studio 2010/2012 and a Source Control Solution like Visual SourceSafe or Team Foundation Server
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Windows/IIS platform experience is required
• Strong exposure to object oriented design and development is required
• Experience with any of the following is a plus:
o MVC3 or greater web application is a plus.
o BizTalk and/or InRule
o community based .NET frameworks like nLog, log4net, nunit, etc
Communication Skills:
• Self-motivated and self-driven is a must with the ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to lead and motivate others to accomplish a common goal
• Experience working directly with clients is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Consult with project manager and help define business requirement for new applications
• Create milestones and project time line estimates 
• Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications. Must be able to lead an application from conception through the entire Development Lifecycle.
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
