Job description:
Highly experienced OBIEE/Oracle BI Applications candidates with deep hands-on implementation experience. Accepted candidates will have the skills to provide exceptional consulting services to clients, helping them gain the optimum benefit from their Business Intelligence investment. This position requires the ability to travel with projects executed on-site at client locations
General Duties/Tasks:
- Generally in a client facing role, leading the Business Intelligence effort
- Architects the overall Business Intelligence solution based on customer needs
- Configures BI Applications, leads fit/gap session and designs, builds, tests the solution
- Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner reporting progress to the Implementation Project Manager and Engagement Manager
- Assists the team with all aspects of implementation and upgrade
- Shares suggestions and knowledge capital to help optimize BI implementation and upgrade methodology
Required Skills:
- At least 10–12 years of hands-on Data Warehouse design and development experience
- At least 5–6 full life-cycle Oracle BI Applications (OBIA) implementation experience
- Hands-on experience in configuring OBIA (version 7.9.1 or later)
- Experience configuring one or more modules within OBIA, preferably, Oracle Financial Analytics, Procurement & Spend Analytics, HR Analytics
- Current hands-on experience in configuring OBIA, Data warehouse Console (DAC) and Informatica
- Current hands-on experience in repository (.RPD) development (Physical, Logical and Presentation layer) using OBIEE Admin tool
- Experience with developing Reports & Dashboards using OBIEE Analysis and Interactive dashboards
- Experience in configuring OBIEE/OBIA security (Authentication and Authorization – Object level and Data level security)
- Advanced knowledge of OBIA pre-built content and deep experience with customizing/extending OBIA pre-built content
- Experience with Installing and configuring OBIEE 10g or 11g is highly desired
- Experience with Informatica and/or Oracle Data integrator is highly desired
Consulting Skills:
- 4–5 years of consulting experience is highly desired
- Good written and Oral communication is a must
- Ability to learn and adopt quickly based on customer needs
- Ability to lead a team
- Displays effective analytical and problem solving skills
