Role: Test & Automation Engineers

Work location: Denver, CO

Duration: 6+ months

                                           

There is immediate requirement for 2-3 onsite engineers at Denver with Testing & Automation experience on IP-Video technologies. Looking at Software Development & Test engineers than pure testers.

 

Requirements

 

·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with good knowledge of tools and techniques for anticipating, recognizing and resolving technical problems

·         Good understanding of computer and telecommunication networks and excellent troubleshooting skills in those environments

·         Good understanding of Audio/Video standards (eg. MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264) as well as internet and transport streaming protocols

·         Familiarity with three major Operating Systems: Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows

·         Hands-on testing experience in Software Development (2-5 years)

·         Proven experience in a Linux Web/database/application server-side browser-based application environment

·         System administration and database (relational & non-relational) administration experience is an asset

·         Proven experience with programming languages such as: Java, JavaScript, C, C++, PHP, Python, Perl, Visual Basic, Bash scripting

·         1-2 years of hands-on experience with open source test automation tools such as Selenium RC/WebDriver

·         Proficiency in REST web services (XML / JSON)

·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is an asset
