Phone interview followed by REQUIRED in-person interview.
Our client is in need of a .NET developer that has both ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC 4 experience.
The candidate must be competent in the following skills:
· C#
· XML
· A working understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles
· Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English
· Web Development (ASP.NET WebForms, ASP.NET MVC, RIA, HTML, CSS and Web API)
· Client-side Web Technologies (JavaScript, jQuery) and proficient with the revealing module JavaScript pattern
· KnockoutJs, RequireJs (familiar with AMD JavaScript development)
· SOA architecture (Web API, web services, RESTful services)
· SQL Server (schema design, queries, performance)
· TFS work item tracking and builds
The qualified professional should also have a strong understanding of:
· Web protocols
· Server and client side development
· Secure coding practices
· Troubleshooting
· Performance management
· Unit testing
· Scrum methodology
· Strong problem solving (critical thinking) abilities
Additional skills desired, but not necessarily required:
· User experience (UX) design
· SignalR
Project Info:
Currently making changes to the application in order to deploy the application to western Europe subsidiaries. Fortunately a lot of the extensive changes required have already been done for eastern Europe subsidiaries... however there will always be some enhancements that will need to be made to the Web Forms pages and user controls until the application is completely converted to MVC
Definitely need to customize the application for 7 western Europe subsidiaries by making sure that the application is provided in their language. The application uses resource files (resx files) currently and so part of the work will be entering in the translations for the 7 languages.
Any additional time that the developers have will be used to convert more of our application to MVC and Web API.
Interview process follows a 3 step process for a successful candidate:
· Technical phone interview
· In-person interview (no exceptions)
· The offer extended/accepted... paperwork... etc.
The candidate will need to be able to work daily at the corporate office in Addison
