Job Title :- VB 6 Developer

 

Location :- Windsor, CT

 

Duration:- 6+ Months

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

 

Responsibilities include –

Analysis of the business requirements and translate them into technical design specs.

Coding, unit testing and supporting different phases of testing.

Responsible for production implementation and support activities.

Will play a major role in SQL optimization.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Senior level resource – with at least 4 years of experience in the following:

Very Strong in Database Concepts – as the immediate project is about SQL optimization. – UDB database

VB 6.0, Classic ASP

 

NONESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIRED

Team player, Strong leadership qualities, Onsite-Offshore coordination

Effective communication, Client facing, Analysis and Design skills.

 

SELLING POINTS

DB2 Certifications

Prior experience in SQL tuning/performance improvements.

Knowledge in Healthcare Domain is a plus.
