Job Description:
Required skills
• Minimum of 7 -8 Yrs experience in Java, J2EE 1.5, JSP 2.0, Servlets 2.3, JSTL 1.1, Custom Tags and IDEs such as RAD 7.5.0 and Eclipse
• Solid experience with Oracle 9i, 10g and SQL
• 2 or more years of experience working with WebSphere Application Server
• Experience with and excellent understanding of the Agile process and concepts
• Should act as architect and drive the solution
• Experience leading or participating actively in technical requirements and design reviews
• Ability to understand the architecture and help in designing architecture of the application learn new concepts, frameworks independently very quickly.
• Ability to independently complete all tasks for a sprint such as detailed design, development and unit testing
• Ability to provide consultation assistance to other stakeholders such as clients, testers, interfacing systems etc.
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Work with Product Owner to analyze, validate and review User Stories
• Identify system inter-dependencies and work with Scrum Master to ensure Scrum team is aligned appropriately
• Plan and execute work for each sprint efficiently
• Implement interface changes and articulate those to all stakeholders and respond to questions and concerns raised
• Prepare AID (Application Interface Design), ensure reviews are done per process and all action items closed
• Identify new flows or changes to existing logic in the application to reflect requirements and HLD
• Create the Detailed Design, ensure reviews are done per process and all action items closed
• Define Unit Test cases exhaustively to ensure zero defects during QC phase and complete Unit Testing
• Conduct Code Reviews and Test Case Reviews
• Support application during testing and certification phases
• Support all testing teams with questions relating to the application, changes made, configuration issues and resolve all defects raised.
• Support the production deployment of application
• Support application in production by troubleshooting issues raised by clients and working on tickets raised
