Position:  SAP Basis Consultant

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 1-3 months contract

Start Date: ASAP

 

Our client currently seeks a “SAP Senior Basis Consultant” to join team in “Boston, MA” to assist the Performance Testing team. 

 

Qualifications:

Experience:

•              Experienced in at least two End-to-end implementation

•              Should have worked on a virtualized system environment  such as VMware

•              Experienced in system Build and managing multiple SAP systems – systems in scope ECC, BW , SAP Portal and SAP PI, Solution Manager ( latest Versions) on virtual platform

•              Should have experience or some awareness of SAP HANA is desirable

•              Able to understand and provide Basis support for SAP interfacing to third party systems

•              Experienced in – SAP ChaRMS basic functionality, CCMS and EWA monitoring

•              Able to provide  Basis task Effort Estimates

•              Responsible for implementation and project support for all SAP systems and transport management

•              Experienced in working on system load and online performance improvements

•              Hands-on experience in SAP Authorization and Security management and Mass user maintenance preferred

•              Experienced in SAP system administration tasks such as Database Monitoring, database backups, system outages, client copies, system refreshes, system restore etc., and OS/DB skills.

 

Soft Skills:

•              Manage on-site & off site team – Basis and Security Resources.

•              Partner with technical and functional teams to analyze and resolve SAP related issues

•              Able to manage coordination with Third Party Infrastructure provider

•              Able to create SAP Basis standard operating procedures for the Landscape

 

Nice to have:

•              knowledgeable in Planning, design, architecting and implementation of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Data and Server virtualization solutions

Database management.
