Requirements Details:

Position: Senior Java Developer (middle to backend)
Location: Waltham, MA
Term: 6 month contract (possible extensions, or temp to perm for the right person)

*Work from home flexibility is allowed*

Our well-respected healthcare based client in Waltham, MA is in need of hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a 6 month contract assignment (possible extensions, or temp to perm for the right person). The ideal candidate will be a solid Java Developer with skills that lean towards the middle to backend. This consultant will help developer our client's industry leading SaaS product offering. This person would be working on a two-person team and taking direction from a Lead Developer.

Experience Required:
* 2+ years of development experience with Java/J2EE
* Development experience with Spring 
* Experience developing web applications 
* MVC Web Framework Experience
* JDBC
* Proficiency in relational database use
* BS or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field

Nice to Have Experience (not required):
* Experience with RESTful Web Services development (or equivalent, SOAP, etc).
* MySQL
