Must be citizens, GC or EAD as eventually, (more than 6 months) they will roll perm.
Must be strong with 3 areas (WinForms, Web Services and SQL Server)
Ø The .NET Developer's responsibilities include analysis, design, implementation and testing for a Personal Lines policy issuance software product. Ø This position will involve new state/enhancement development as well as system maintenance. Ø This position will also include interacting with third party vendors to learn, support, maintain and enhance the policy issuance system as well as other related software systems.
Responsibilities Include:
Ø Participating in client and business tier design, development and maintenance. Ø Direct interaction with business units. Ø Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle. Ø Co-development with product vendor. Ø Use of code management and defect management tools
Requirements:
Ø 3+ years hands-on development experience in VB.NET (preferred) or C# design and development. Ø An understanding of the software development life cycle. Ø Excellent communication and team skills with the proven ability to multi-task. Ø Able to perform detailed troubleshooting/debugging. Ø Excellent problem solving skills. Ø Willingness to work extra hours as required by workload and deadlines. Ø Versatility with regards to changing priorities. Ø Experience consuming Web Services Ø JavaScript , CSS, HTML Ø .Net Framework / Visual Studio.Net (Development Tools) Ø SQL Server 2008 Ø Preferred Skills: Ø IIS 6.0 / IIS 7 Ø ADO.Net Ø Silverlight 4.0 Ø TFS /Quality Center Ø Ability and desire to mentor others. Ø ASP.NET Ø Writing of Web Services Ø XML/XSLT Ø Web development using AJAX Ø jQuery knowledge Ø Cross platform web development experience |
