Position: Java Developer

Location: Bethesda ,MD

Experience: 3-6 years.

Duration:12 Months+

Rate: Not more than 50 on C2C.

 Note:Face to Face Mandatory

 

Good understanding of EJB 2 technology (Java code and XML descriptors) in order to port applications to Tomcat/Spring

Ability to quickly get familiar with large code base (JSP, JSP tags, Struts 2.x, EJB, JDBC, custom framework)

Working knowledge of jQuery

Knowledge of Spring dependency injection, Spring and "classic" JDBC, annotations, transaction management

Ability to use Eclipse debugging (local/remote) with Tomcat to test and troubleshoot applications

Experience unit tests using JUnit is a must, knowledge of automated suites such as Cruise Control is desirable

Ability to setup and use JProbe or equivalent tool to identify system bottlenecks and resource contention areas

Must be able to work with existing code without major changes in the overall structure (no re-designing of applications)

Ability to follow general directions and to work with minimal supervision

Hands-on experience with the following is desirable: Hibernate 3.x, Axis 2, Spring JMS

Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is a plus

Knowledge of Data Mining and clustering tools a plus.
