BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced J2EE programmer for a 6+ Months Contract in Madison, WI

Role       :            J2EE programmer

Location:              Madison, WI

Duration:             6+ Months

Rate      :            $40-45/hr.

Skill Requirements :

Java - J2EE - Java 2 Enterprise Edition, 2-5 years of Experience    

Technical Environment :

Project includes both J2EE on AIX and IMS-DC on z/OS mainframe systems using DB2 and Oracle. J2EE applications are built using RAD, run on IBM WebSphere, utilize JSP/JavaScript/Custom Tag/EJBs technologies, implement Singleton, Factory and DAO design patterns, and communicate via AJAX, WebSphere MQ messaging, web services, and REST.

Required Skills :

• 2-4 years of development experience designing and building application JEE components

• Java Integrated Development Environment (IDE) - e.g. Eclipse, RAD, or IntelliJ

• Object-oriented analysis and design

• Relational databases and SQL

• Strong communication skills. Notes on our Technical Environment

• Our project includes both JEE on AIX and IMS-DC on z/OS mainframe systems using DB2 and Oracle.

• Our applications implement objected oriented and JEE patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and DAO

• Disparate applications are integrated using WebSphere MQ, SOAP and RESTful web services and file exchanges.
