Position : Senior Linux Systems Engineer

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Duration : 6 Months

 

Skills & Experience:

·         Experience administering Amazon Cloud Infrastructure based technologies

·         Strong knowledge and experience with scripting and system languages

·         High availability system setup and architecture

·         Red Hat Certification is desired but not a show stopper

·         Five or more years Red Hat or Red Hat based distribution experience

·         RHEL 5.x/6.x experience

·         Experience in solutions design and recommendation (supported by description in resume)

·         Candidates must have performance tuning experience

·         Interact closely with developers and to improve Linux architecture and operations

·         Work with other IT engineers to research and implement new technologies

·         Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, applications, and network infrastructure

·         Analyze architecture, infrastructure design and application flow to optimize performance and scalability

·         Maximize platform availability

·         Capacity planning through evaluation of hardware and software

·         Create and maintain system documentation

·         Document current and future configuration processes and efforts

·         24x7 on-call support

 

Familiarity in any of the following areas would be a plus:

·         Experience with Distributed Processing

·         Cloud Infrastructure knowledge

·         Java, Oracle RDBMS, MySQL

·         Networking experience

·         Multi-site and/or international systems administration

·         SAN or NAS experience

·         Puppet

 

 

Position : Senior Windows Systems Engineer

Location: Phoenix AZ

Project duration: 6 Months

 

Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge and experience with scripting and system languages
• High availability system setup and architecture
• Certification is desired but not a show stopper
• Five or more years Windows administration experience
• Windows 2003, 2008
• Candidates must have performance tuning experience
• Interact closely with developers and to improve architecture and operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, applications, and network infrastructure
• Analyze architecture, infrastructure design and application flow to optimize performance and scalability
• Maximize platform availability
• Capacity planning through evaluation of hardware and software
• Create and maintain system documentation
• 24x7 on-call support

 

Familiarity in any 2-3 of the following .

• Experience with Distributed Processing
• Experience administering Amazon Cloud Infrastructure based technologies
• Java, MS SQL RDBMS, MySQL
• Networking experience
• Multi-site and/or international systems administration
• SAN or NAS experience
• SCCM, SCOM

 

Position : Program Manager

Location: Redmond, WA

Project duration: 6 Months might get extended.

 

Qualifications:

 

·         Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) is top priority

·         Strong project and program management skills. MS Project, MS Visio experience is must.

·         Prior experience as an engineer or project manager in network operations centers is highly preferred

·         Basic understanding of online services, architecture or storage technologies is preferred but not required.

·         Operations infrastructure and supply chain experience in one or more of the following area: Network, hardware, OS, Security a strong plus.

·         Breadth of knowledge in technologies related to Windows Server 2003/2008, Unix, Oracle, MS SQL, Apache, IIS, Active Directory, Networking (TCP/IP, load balancing, DNS, ACL, routing)

·         Strong data analysis and results reporting skills – Excel experience is a must. Experience in SQL Reporting, Jasper etc is nice to have

·         A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated work experience in related field

·         Must have solid problem analysis skills and be able to multi-task on several projects at once

·         Must be a team player who is self-motivated, showing initiative and taking ownership of issues, vigorously pursuing them to resolution

·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or equivalent experience is preferred

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·         Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP)

·         Six Sigma

·         MCSA, MCSE, or MCP (with focus in Windows Server 2k3/2k8)

·         CCNA, CCNP

·         ITIL
