Front End UI Developers
NYC,NY
6 +Months Contract

 

Qualifications:
• Experience with Agile methodology and working within Agile methodology and working within Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of XHTML, including semantic mark-up and validation
• Extensive knowledge of CSS, including CSS driven layout and debugging for rapid development; experience with development tools such as Firebug
• Strong Working Knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, GWT, AJAX)
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and challenges
• Understanding and practical application of browser-side performance considerations.
• Understanding of SQL queries and databases (Oracle, Db2, …)

 

Other Preferred skills and Experience
• Exposure to Web Content Management and workflow tools (Fatwire, WordPress, Documentum, …etc)
• Eclipse and Tomcat experience
• Understanding of Java Server Pages and tags
• Understanding of SQL queries and databases (Oracle, Db2, …)
