Job Title: Distribution Business Operations Manager

Location: US (6 month contract)

 

Cisco seeks a Distribution Business Operations Manager to execute on its services 2Tier Cisco Partner Annuity Initiative (CPAI) Auto-Quoting/Auto-Notification program by developing and implementing plans which will mobilize Cisco in aggressively enabling the capabilities of distributors to increase sales and profitability while reducing the cost of doing business for all channel participants.

 

The DBOM should drive Engagement with distributors to improve operational efficiency of E2E sales process in line with CPAI's strategy (EODB, Simplicity, Growth and Transformation).

 

The primary measures of the Distribution Business Operations Manager are based on the performance of each distributor. Primary measures are renewal rate and onboarding of distributors to the CPAI program.

 

This position will be responsible for LATAM geographic region

 

Moderate travel will be required – minimum twice per quarter or higher as needed.

 

Specific Responsibilities

 

* Execute CPAI enablement plan built by the Change Management Project Manager

* Capture distributor requirements and input collated information to project team

* Identify and mitigate operational issues which inhibit the success of Cisco through each distributor

* Monitor and achieve targets set for the adoption plan, and execute mitigation plan as necessary

* Provide regular status updates to operations and sales teams

* Manage data quality issues (reseller information, feedback from distis)

 

Relevant Skills

 

Typically requires BS, CS, or University degree equivalent plus 4 years experience.

 

* 4+ years total professional experience minimum

* Experience in sales process order cycle operations for Channel Distribution preferred

* Fundamental project management skills

* Strong communications and presentation skills

* Business requirements elicitation and documentation skills

* Strong Leadership, risk management and problem solving skills

* Proficiency in English (required), Spanish (required), Portuguese (optional)
