Job Title : PeopleSoft Technical
Location : Wilmington, DE
Duration : 6+ Months Contract
 
The PeopleSoft (PSFT) Technical Lead to provide PSFT Financials and Supply Chain Management technical leadership and must have extensive hands-on experience in PeopleTools and PIA.  This role requires individual to be self-directed, motivated, client experienced and led at least one successfully PSFT FSCM upgrade project.  The PSFT technical lead must also have strong soft-skills, with the ability to relate well with both technical and business users. Prior experience with PeopleSoft end to end implementations and upgrade is a must. Preferred candidates will have production support, PSFT upgrade experience and prior experience managing technical teams in a matrix environment.
 
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience in PSFT Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) v9.x and PeopleTools v8.5x
• 9+ years of PeopleTools experience (Application Engines, Application Packages/Classes, Functional and OO PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, Integration Broker, Messaging, XML technologies and Web Services)
• Hands-on experience as a Technical Lead in an upgrade project and in a production support environment; can mentor others with less experienced.
• Ability to assist with functional specifications
• Ability to create technical specifications
• Ability to support the development, testing, debugging and documentation of PSFT applications in accordance with standard development practices and architectural requirements
• Ability to work with the PSFT and database administrators to resolve complex technical issues and understand system performance associated with PIA.
• Ability to reviewing PSFT bundles and applying fixes
• Ability to estimate work, status reports, update project plans
• Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous and event driven environment
• General understanding of SDLC processes
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Team player
• Provide overall PSFT technical guidance
• Be the Go-To Technical Lead
• Assist in/coordinate development and support of customizations/interfaces
• Develop, communicate, maintain, and enforce the overall PSFT operational methodology for the PSFT FSCM environments
