The Training Manager will serve as a member of the Finance Optimization Team based in Culver City, CA. He/she reports to the Training Director, Finance Optimization, and is responsible for serving as an internal consultant to FOT managed initiatives and perform the following training development activities:.
To be successful, this individual must:
(a) Conduct needs analysis to provide recommendations in training strategy to project leadership and Training Director
(b) Schedule and meet with subject matter experts to gather information, review materials and finalize content
(c) Apply technical expertise training development to create content relatable to end users
(d) Support new development of training material and updates to existing materials
(e) Participate as a co-facilitator in training sessions, as necessary
(f) Conduct standard post-training material review and update as needed
(g) Apply project management skills to align with project work streams
Requirements:
• Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
• Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models (ADDIE and SAM)
• Lesson and curriculum planning skills
• Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
• Visual design skills (Captivate, SnagIt, Photoshop) and ability to storyboard preferred
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
• Exceptionally proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint)
• BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar
• ERP (SAP) and/or financial application experience is strongly preferred
• Previous experience supporting I leading multiple projects is required
• Prior experience working with global client base is preferred
• Entertainment (Media, Film, or TV) or a related industry experience is desired
