Skills:   

            Big Data

HDFS, Hive, Impala, Spark, Oozie, Kafka & Sqoop

Datawarehousing           

ETL tools (Informatica/Datastage/Teradata)

              Reporting tools (Cognos/Business Objects)

Concepts of Star Schema, dimensional modeling, performance tuning, full/incremental data loads

              Strong Unix scripting experience

              RDBMS – Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2

 

Experience:

·         Overall IT experience of 15+ years and 3+ years in Architect capacity

·         Business Intelligence experience of 10+ years

·         Participated in full scale design workshops for conceptualizing a data warehouse solution

·         Architected a new data warehouse implementation solution

·         Led architectural endeavor to analyze viability and need of Big Data implementation vs a data warehouse implementation

·         Led Design for data integration in multiple large scale projects

·         Architecture a Big Data solution including data ingestion and consumption strategy

·         Minimum 5 years' experience in coding ETL logic in traditional tools like Informatica as well as Big Data technologies like Sqoop

·         Hands on data modeling experience for data warehouse implementation

·         Extremely effective communication skills
