Mode of interview: Initial phone screening + SKYPE or WebEX

Job Description:

The Client is currently running Check Point hardware looking to replace with a mix of PA-VM-300's and other physical Palo Alto hardware in an HA configuration for their Retail locations with future projects at the Perimeter and DataCenter.

Looking to apply Next Generation technology to better control external and internal traffic using UserID, AppID, Security Profiles and leveraging existing infrastructure.

In addition to integrate with existing Cybersecurity solutions such as Algosec and an upcoming SIEM project.

Required Experience:

-It would be a plus to have hands-on configuration and operational knowledge of other Vendor products and their operation

-Check Point experience in routing and switching and policy configuration

-Check Point > experience in security configuration, IDS/IPS

-Check Point > experience in DDoS mitigation

-Check Point Firewalling technologies, DMZ design, proxy, stateful inspection, other.

-Check Point Endpoint technologies.

-VMWARE technologies.

-Expert level relationship management, communications skills and interpersonal skills to manage face to face communications on a daily basis with multiple levels of customer management and engineering staff across multiple departments

-Expert level troubleshooting methodology to isolate and identify configuration, design, and software anomalies; ability to clearly articulate findings in written and verbal communications with development level engineering staff.

Job Description: This is a high-caliber role supporting a new implementation.

Required Experience:

-Demonstrated expertise with Brocade hardware and solutions

-MPLS

-OSPF

-BGP

-Multi-VRF

-MLXe and ICX experience (preferably ICX7450)

-Good Project Management Skills for a large WAN roll out

-Good people skills, and ability to handle a highly political environment 

-Brocade certifications are a definite plus.

-CCIE is huge bonus
